A childhood marked by summers on a lake in western Masschusetts and filled with boating, fishing, camping, and hunting led Allen Weidhaas to a lifelong affection for, and admiration of, the outdoors, nature, and wildlife.
He is a 1974 graduate with honors from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Allen has worked in bronze and with one-of-a-kind woodcarvings for over 20 years. He is known for his exacting realistic detail.

The sculptor maintains a temporary summer studio in Montana, and a permanent winter studio in his adopted hometown of Stuart, Virginia. His sculpture may be found in private, corporate, and museum collections across the United States.
